How long will it take until Bunker Hill Monument reopens to the public, considering it has been shut down since March 2020? All other sites at Boston National Historical Park, including Old State House, Faneuil House, and the Paul Revere House have been reopened since at least the Summer 2021. What problems does Bunker Hill Monument have that keeps it from reopening?

Gee, had no idea it's closed. That's too bad.

Haven't heard a thing in the news about this.

Out of sight, out of mind.

Wow, I'm kind of surprised it's closed considering all of the other things that have been open for so long. Maybe they cant find anyone to work there.

Most people go there to climb the stairs and it is pretty tight quarters. When it does reopen I'd recommend getting there first thing, otherwise the climb isn't so pleasant staring at the back of tourists.

NPS has been having severe staffing issues. Likely won't change soon. Places like Boston with high COL aren't desirable appointments within the service.
