Try the cruise lines, Disney and other tourist/vacation businesses. Otherwise, it looks like the 'personal digital age' has had a tremendous impact on traditional photography businesses (4% growth forecast between 2012-2022 - BLS). Have you considered something in more of a specialty area, such as aerial or underwater photography; or perhaps web site or specialty advertising photography?

Your best bet for now, may be to focus on a 'day job' and then look for opportunities to 'scratch your photography itch' on the side.

There's not many photography jobs anywhere these days, much less Cocoa Beach. Lots of newspapers have even taken to laying off their photographers, and now use stuff the the public emails to them from their phones for free. As a photographer, I can tell you that it is nearly impossible to make a living in photography anymore. Even wedding photographers (I'd rather eat bugs than do that) are having a tough time because, as everyone knows, every soccer mom and her boyfriend w/ a DSLR and a zoom lens is now a "professional photographer". And the quality keeps dropping and dropping, but no one cares anymore. Everything is "good enough". So why pay a pro when no one sees the quality?

I work in a niche area: fine art w/ traditional B&W film, and you would be amazed by how many people who cannot tell the difference between a beautiful B&W darkroom print made on fiber paper, and something that has been inkjet printed from a digital camera. The difference is huge to me, but not to most people. Everything has been dumbed down very effectively in this country.
