Hi I am looking for a good real estate agent - I would prefer people giving references rather than agents self promotion.

Thanks

There are many in the area. If you looked under real estate on yellowbook.com in Burlington there should be a long list. When we bought our home we used Nancy Jenkins @ VT-Homes.com. They were excellent. We had an issue with water damage and flooding on our first floor and they resolved the whole issue at no cost to us. In fact they had a plumber there within a half hour of finding the damage and used money from the commission to pay for it. That was four years ago and we still receive discounts and movie passes from time to time for using their service.

Default Colchester Realtor

I would recommend you try Coldwell Banker in Brattleboro (Belleville Realty). When I was looking for a home in southern Vermont they were very helpful although I ultimately decided on Derby in the north. All of the Coldwell Realtors work very closely with each other regardless of their geographical location in helping you find the home that you will be happy with and without any pressure on their part for you to buy something.

Undoubtedly there are other fine Realtors but they are the ones I am familiar with and I was very happy with my experience.

We use Don Marcelino with Prudential and have had great luck. He lives in Colchester too and knows the area very well. We've done 5 transactions with him and all have been smooth. I see that Nancy Jenkins was recommended above- Don and Nancy work together.

Good luck,
Julie

I began working in the office they owned in 1988. I stayed with them, (through various changes in location and corporate umbrella) until last year. I'm now at another office. We all stayed on good terms of course, and I think you'd enjoy working with either of them. They are good people, both of them. Tell them David Beckett sent you/says hello!
