Hello, I’m a recent college graduate, 22 years old, and through my time I realized simple life is so much more for me. I’ve been in Virginia my entire life, near Charlottesville, so I’m very accustomed to it, but want something different. I’ve been researching and Burlington Vermont seems to fit my personality pretty well and I just want your opinions on if I’m not considering something. Or if there something I do not understand about the town. A little bit about me.
I like “community feels” where I can walk through the streets and smile and people smile back.
I like simple shops and stores. No Starbucks but local coffee houses.
I LOVE people and want to be able to be involved in a community as much as possible.
I hate the heat more than anything in the world. I’d rather be wrapped in a blanket 24/7.
I like being healthy, I’m a vegetarian and being healthy is important. I like the gym.
I don’t like the “party scene” but I enjoy laid back bars
Yes I do like warm weather for a short period of time, but it’s a thin line between comfortable and painful heat for me.
I want to be able to make this city my home, is this a place where it can happen?
Also what are your opinions for someone as young as me choosing this town?

I think you would certainly fit in in Burlington. The big question is what kind of work will you be looking for?
