Now that local and State government workers have bankrupted the Cities and State with high pay and outrageous pensions they have the gall to consider charging the public for their services twice.

Unless you're a member of the Legislature, just when did you "vote" on state workers pay? That's been up to bargaining and Legislative approval, not a popular vote.

It is common where I live for ballot measures for additional taxes for police and fire department raises.
