There really isn't much up there this year to enjoy yet. Until a storm moves thru this part of the Sierras it is very dry.

Its been a relativly dry december in ca. I bet jan is not much better.

Not much snow at all this year, but the most popular place for people to stop and play in the snow is shared with a chain-installation pullout at Hwy 168 and Tollhouse Rd. Beyond that you have to hunt for free parking in Shaver Lake or pay a fee at a Snow Park.
