Thanks Ruth, that's what I was thinking. It is the only other state that has cheap fresh produce. A lot of it cheaper actually.

We have acquaintances in the grape/wine business in Washington... actually early pioneers as it is today and the weather has been improving and Washington AG is benefiting.

Remember... they say England use to grow grapes a 1000 years ago that needed a warmer climate...

One of the reasons I have made a foothold in western Washington is the abundance of water.
