Hi pals,

Soon I will be moving to Palo Alto,CA on job purpose along with my wife.
Please suggest an affordable & safe city to stay near Palo Alto.
I am considering Santa Clara, Milpitas and San Jose.

Regards
Nirmal

You'll have to define what is "affordable' to you.

This should be moved to the San Jose forum.

There generally aren't any areas under a one-hour rush hour commute time from Palo Alto that are "safe" and "affordable" by most people's definitions of those terms, but it really depends on what type of housing you want and how much you can pay.

East Palo Alto. Hayward?
But they'd be considered upper class anywhere else in the country price-wise
