On May 19, we are going to have an I.Q. test disguised to look like an election. What will be decided is if we want to pay another 16 BILLION in taxes and fees. After watching many elections I fear that once again we will fail this test and vote to pick our own pockets. The Politicians, Lobbyists, and Special Interest groups must shake their heads, and give each other high fives every time we decide to stick it to ourselves so they can continue to live the good life.

I just love the teachers and "it's for the children!" They are having a one day strike soon, to support these propositions. It's for the children!!!

A more skeptical person might wonder if it's just for the teachers, for their continued employment, for their exorbitant salaries, for their better than industry retirement, and for their 9 month work year. I'm glad I'm not a skeptical person.
