That' depends on what you're looking for.

I go to Kennedy (which is one of the pricier ones, although I'm on a corporate membership so it's only $20 a month for me) because their gyms are always clean and they have a wide array of equipment (including pools, which I use frequently). Plus, they have one in basically every town in SLO county and the membership works at each one. I can play tennis with my friends in AG with no problems.

If you're looking for cheap(er) relatively speaking, I'd look at YMCA, or 24 hour fitness in SLO. Still good facilities as far as I know, but not my cup of tea.

Aren't you a Cal Poly student? Isn't the Rec Center free for you?

There are so many down trees in the county, that cutting, splitting, and stacking firewood, is sorely needed. It is a great workout, and you can make a little money.

We had a very large Eucalyptus go down across a road. Cal Trans pushed it to the side, I thought I might need to hire a crew, but every day more of it disappears, people are stopping, cutting hauling, then will likely sell the wood.

Lots of wood work out there
