Hi, everyone. I just wanted to say that we recently had a wonderful week at Mystic KOA in Connecticut. We decided to let our motor home at home so we rented a Kamping Lodge. It was wonderful. Mystic KOA is clean and neat, the people are friendly, the pools are beautiful, the playground is nice, and best of all, my kids loved jumping on the bouncy pillow at the playground. It's a giant pillow that they inflate every morning and deflate at night. They also have golf cart and bike rentals. It's a great place to stay in a great area. They have sites ranging from primitive to full hookup, back-ins and pull-thrus, and regular Kabins. Our Lodge had a kitchen and bathroom, which was just wonderful for our family of 5.

Finally we hear something good about a KAO. Most of what I've seen and heard about is bad. Like being packed in like sardines, can't open their sliders, so close you can here what your young neighbors are doing early in the morning . And the list goes on and on.
But of course you are talking about Connecticut and not Ohio.

I think often that is the case but I like KOA's when traveling and you want a place close to the interstate and the convenience of knowing what you'll get since they're all similar in some aspects. Especially when traveling with kids because the KOAs have the playgrounds, but they tend to be expensive and crowded.
