Hi,

When you have had deportation from Canada, does your CIPC check show that?

No idea what a CIPC check is but be assured If you are deported from or denied entry into Canada it will definitely pop up on the CBSA agents computer if you try to re enter Canada.

It's CPIC, Canadian Police Information Centre, and yes, it would show up.

How sure are you about this?

Well, seeing as CPIC is the repository for all data from all police/enforcement/courts in Canada, about as certain as you get.

If they were formally deported through a court proceeding, unless it has been specifically expunged, it will likely be in the system.

It's a 100% sure thing. If you have been deported from Canada your record of it is in the shared data base system forever.

Not to hijack the thread, but I didn't want to start a new thread for essentially a similar question. If someone was arrested in the US at the age of 14 for shoplifting ($50 value), had their record sealed, and have had a completely clean history since then (and are now 25), would that likely make them inadmissible?

I seriously do not see that as being a problem, BUT...you don't want to come all the way from Cali to figure it out.

I would contact the CBSA directly.
