Anyone seen this?



I like it, actually. Not sure what to think of the musical notes on top; they kind of ruin the look for me.

For our international friends: This is Julie Payette--Canada's vice regal--new coat of arms, her motto reads "Through struggle, to the stars".

I think it's great when a coat of arms reflects the person. Bravo.


BTW the musical notes are there because in addition to being an astronaut, she is an orchestra-level musician and also could sing opera professionally.


She also speaks something like six languages.

I think it's awesome. I wish one day I'm important enough to have the Herald for Canada designate me a set of Arms.

I thought that's an oversized set of bear arms. Probably the second amendment version.

Well one thing is, you'll have no problem getting them through the airport scanner in the US, as long as nobody's looking...which is usually the case
