My BIL was just diagnosed and it's in the area around one of his eyes.
My sister is a nervous wreck by nature and now? toast

I wondered if anyone has any experience. It's nasty stuff. I don't mind hearing the bad and I won't be surprised if there's nothing good...

I hate cancer.

It's a type of adenocarcinoma. The prognosis is going to depend on what tissue the cancer originated in (that location sounds like it is a metastasis rather than the primary tumor location). To determine that will require additional testing of the tumor (which is probably already being done), as well as a more comprehensive workup to look for additional tumor elsewhere int he body.

I'm so sorry your BIL has been diagnosed with this.

So do I. My beloved daughter died of a rare (for an adult) type of cancer when she was only 34. I'll be thinking of you and and your family, and lighting candles for you....

Heart wrenching. So sorry anyone has to deal with this. I was 2 when I lost my dad to it.
