I was sitting at the dinner table last night and saw a bobcat creeping or stalking something. I got the camera and took some video and photos. Its through a screen but its still fair. Not really a pet but very very cool cat. I felt like saying Mommy can I keep it?

What a beauty. I hope their numbers are increasing now with less shooting and trapping.

Here is a link to the video I put on my brothers you-tube site. I added some music to make it a bit more dramatic.

For sure, not a pet to take home to Mommy. A decent sized tom bobcat can kill a small deer or take apart in pieces a coyote foolish enough to attack it.

Fully aware of the ability's of a bob cat. LOL I know of people who raised orphaned ones and they are very house broken. I still would not want one for a pet but they are very cool.

Thanks for posting this! The music was perfect, though I was sorry to never see what was the prey.
Could you see the prey? Did he catch it?

Also, how far away were you; did you have a telephoto lens?
