Well, I got to bring Mabel home today and she is doing very well. She weighs in at a whopping 3.15 pounds, and she has been gone over from head to toe. She will be continuing her antibiotics for a few more days, and has to finish out her series of kitten shots but other than that, she is healthy, eating good, playful, amazingly calm considering she had never spent one night under a roof until last Friday night, and we have her sequestered in our living room in a great big pet cage with food, water, and litter box included. She can see outside, we can see her, the other cats can visit her without scaring her, and she can't run off and hide downstairs where I won't be able to reach her. After she's finished with her meds - I may start to let her explore a bit. We just put up two new cat trees in the sun room this past Saturday - I know she'll have fun in there!!!! If anybody is interested - I started a new album for Mabel since I wasted at least 2 hours today trying to figure out how to get photos on the site (I forgot to remember how to do that...duh!!!) - so....that's where you can see her.

She's a tiny little thing! But so cute. Glad she's finally home and recovering.

Mabel is so Darling! I have a solid black kitty also - well now she is full grown and over 10 years old (lol).

I didn't know about the album on the website - thanks for the info.

I know that you are a happy camper to have your BabyGirl healthy and happy! Makes me happy

So glad she is home! Earl looked more curious than anything else. Mabel looks like she will settle in just fine. Bless you for making her one of your own!

Thanks guys.....she has spent one night under our roof and I'm totally in love with her already. She is quite a little snuggle bunny - and Earl is having a really hard time staying away from her. Had her cage open this morning scooping her box after she had breakfast and he was trying to muscle his way in!!!!
