For the past few months, Charlie will sit on my lap with his arms around my arm and lick my hand and rub his head on my hand. It is essentially the same thing he would be doing to clean himself, but he is using my hand instead of his own.
Do any of your cats ever do this or anything out of the ordinary?
Maybe it isn't strange, but he is the first cat I have ever had to do it. He is really inseparable from me.... little cutie.
He is back to normal, btw, but still with more of a tremor.
My youngest girl Sheba does something similar. She likes to get in my lap and sit 'making biscuits' for quite a while, then she'll lay down and that's my cue to start petting her. She taught me to put my hand or fingers in front of her mouth while petting so she can lick & wet them, after which I rub her head, ears and face. In effect she's getting her face washed as she normally would, but she's not having to do any of the work. This usually goes on for quite a while before she's had enough.
Also glad to hear Charlie's doing ok. In regards to your earlier thread about the seizures, I was wondering if the vets ruled out epilepsy (I assume cats can have it) as a cause?
Lily will sit on my lap while I pet her and lick my wrist, then she rubs her face on my wrist.
It is her way of saying, "You are owned by me, Mom!"
