I'm surprised that no one made a thread about this controversial song/video so far. Rhianna has a new song out called S&M (yes THAT S&M), and the song itself seems to sound like the typical catchy Rhianna tune that most of us are used to, but once you hear the lyrics to the song as well as view the video for this song, you realize that it has become a hot topic issue on what the limit is as far as expression in song.

The video to this song has been banned in over 15 countries at last check, including some European countries. What is your take on the song/video? Is it really that controversial, or is it blown out of proportion? Here is the link to the video:

Not to mention that she apparently copied the works of some well-known photographer in her video without his permission. Now that was the bigger controversy! Also, she tries way too hard to be "hardcore." She's been doing that since the Chris Brown incident. It's like "okay, we get it now. you're one tough b****."

I'm not a fan when people make their fame on this sort of thing. Basically whoring. I don't like her "love the way you lie" line in Eminems song either. Why would anyone love the way someone lies?

She's got issues, clearly & I doubt she's into S&M, just a poppy attempt to be edgy. Too bad Madonna did it with "Human Nature" over 10 years ago.

I think nobody cared to post anything about her because she's getting annoying.

I think she has no talent and desperately trying too hard to be hip and different, and hey that's what sells.

FWIW, the song is a play on words for Scandal & Media...considering she experienced quite a bit of it with the Chris Brown issue.

Oh...and I like the song and video.

I wish she would go away. I swear every song she comes out with is just as bad or worse as the one before it.
