Another musician gone. Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship has died of multiple organ failure.

Jefferson Airplane

I wish this month would end! Enough musicians gone.

RIP, Paul K.

Yes, it is going to get worse, Charles.

It's probably amazing, given some lifestyle choices some musicians made, that as many have made lived into their 60s or 70s. Here is more about Paul Kantner from Rolling Stone.

I was wondering who the third would be. Well, 74 is at least better than 67 and 69, though not by much.

Honestly, with the drugs some of these guys have talked about doing, the real shocker is that they lasted as long as they did.

Exactly. My veiled point in the post before yours.

Is this really just the third? Somehow I thought Paul K. was the fourth. Maybe I'm confused as Celine Dion's husband was treated in many ways as a star.

We started with a female - Natalie Cole -
Then Bowie -
Glenn Frey -
now Paul Kantner. It's been a long month, which doesn't end for three more days.

We have to be thankful they have made it this far, considering their colorful lifestyle.

We do have the guitarist of AC/DC struggling with dementia.......pray Lord let the Rolling Stones live forever.

Prayers to his family and friends......... I saw this band in Chico, California back in 1979.

Alan Rickman was also 69, though not a singer. Perhaps you were thinking of him?

Ah, Natalie Cole. Forgot about her.

Yes, Natalie Cole started this awful trend. I think she would be easier to remember if there hadn't been three others from music follow her so soon.
