LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dick Martin, the zany half of the comedy team whose Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In took television by storm in the 1960s, making stars of Goldie Hawn and Lily Tomlin and creating such national catch-phrases as "Sock it to me!" has died. He was 86.

My family and I could not wait to watch "Laugh In" every week back in the 60's. It was, I believe, a ground breaking show. It was an excellent show.

Dick Martin proved that it's not necessary to incorporate four-letter words to instill humor into our lives. Long live his memory and the many laughable moments he gave to all--at any age.

I love Laugh in, I hope they will show the re-runs on TV again soon. It would be cool to see the stars as they were then.

As Rowan would say to end the show "Say goodnight Dick"
To which Martin would of course say "Goonight Dick".
I agree with Jadybug
Goodnight Dick!
