LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dick Martin, the zany half of the comedy team whose Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In took television by storm in the 1960s, making stars of Goldie Hawn and Lily Tomlin and creating such national catch-phrases as "Sock it to me!" has died. He was 86.
Dick Martin proved that it's not necessary to incorporate four-letter words to instill humor into our lives. Long live his memory and the many laughable moments he gave to all--at any age.
LOL How many times have you done that gag? I've done it hundreds of times over the years since Dick Martin made it so funny!
Goodnight Dick.
and the 'sock it to me' lines...
Thanks for the memories; a great show and wonderful people.
