I was reallt impressed today when I saw Kirk Cameron on THe Today show. He has a movie comimg out. If you have seen him interview before he has shared that way back when he was doing Growing Pains he became a Christian and was bothered by some sence that he had to play. In this movie he just did that is coming out, he had a sence that he had to kiss his wife i the movie. He said that he made a comittment that kissing is kissing and that would only be shred with his wife. So when they had to do that scence his real wife came it for the kiss. I thought that in Hollywood when Marriage sometimes last for a day, and when celebs seem fake this man stands for what he believes. I'm sure that he doesn't work much but it was so nice to see someone stay true to who they are and what they believe.

Oh brother. He should not be acting if something like that bothers him. He should just stick to his christian stuff and composing.

Actually I heard of stars asking for more silly things than that that mean nothing but to say I 'm a star and I can. I respect him for standing behind what he feels he needs to. At the end of the day I respect that. How would I know that ion this day and age even if you don't believe what he does you can't respect him. He believes in his marriage vows and to him kissing someone else goes against those vows.

He's a washed up has-been heart throb that couldn't cope with his "issues". He's doing a promotional tour and we'll probably won't hear from him for another 3-4 years. I'm looking forward to that day.

Yeah, I never got that whole "heart throb" thing in Kirk Cameron's case. I was a regular Tiger Beat reader, but dang the guy looked like a goober no matter what kooky outfit they put him in - which was usually high waisted tapered leg acid washed jeans and white LA Gear hi-top tennies with velcro straps. Let's not even go there about his hair-do.

*shudder*

OHHH Come ON!!!! We all know you had that same outfit with the 20 rubber bangles on one wrist and the 3 Swatch watches on the other with the Madonna bow in your teased-up hair!!! Bringing up fond memories!?!?

Please don't ask about my wardrobe habit's of the 80's, it's too scary!!!! Two polo shirts with hiked-up collars and the pegged leg pants with the different colored converse tennies wasn't exactly my highlight of fashion sense!

Slow your roll - I never had the rubber bangles, or the Madonna bow - but I did have a Swatch with a grey Swatchguard - just one!! The Madonna in me was the very pointy black boots with several silver buckles - wore those to crumbs. My fashion sense in HS was more along the lines of Robert Smith and Siouxie.

I wish you had pics of the outfit you describe yourself wearing - flashback!!

I still see Kirk Cameron as that dork with the smarmy grin - even if they've updated his wardrobe since then. Does anyone have any pics to share?

OH MY GOD!!!!!! We were seperated at birth. I dressed up more like Robert Smith and Morrissey!!!!! Occassionally like Nivek Ogre from Skinny Puppy to rattle some cages!!!! I went to Catholic HS and got teased constantly! But I loved it! I wore nothing by black and gray!!!! I heard," Going to a funeral?" or " Is it Halloween?" And that was from the teachers!

As for Kirk... blah, blah, blah! I saw him at some debate last year about evolution or some crap and he made a fool of himself. Lack of education does that to a person!

I'll be in the minority...it is cute and sweet that he feels that way.
