Howard Stern let loose on the new “Idol” judge in an expletive-laced bit during his radio show.

After commenting on DeGeneres’ deal as a spokesperson with Covergirl cosmetics (“Ellen DeGeneres looks like somebody punched her in the face,” he said. “She gets on that Covergirl and you’d think she’s Heidi Klum”), the shock jock dived into rumors he’s up to take Cowell’s spot.

His career is in the toilet, along with his mouth and mind, and Ellen's career is through the roof. Sounds like jealousy.

LOL...career in the toilet? Hardly. He IS Sirius/XM. If he goes, so will they. Oh and he makes $100,000,000.00 per year. Jealous? Yeah.

But what does Sirius/XM's screwups have to do with Stern? He has the highest rated show on the network. Sirius/XM screwups begin with paying Martha Stewart and Oprah tons of dough for doing absolutely nothing. Really bad choices. Howard, however, brought in many new subscribers. People who will PAY to listen to programming and music rather than 40 minutes of commercials per hour on regular radio. Also, do you understand the initial costs involved in sending a satellite into orbit? The were not supposed to make a profit for many years. The problem was with mismanagement along the way. The company has roughly $7 billion in assets and $4 billion in debt. It looks like bankruptcy is coming and hopefully a restructure, this time hopefully not spending money on useless talent that doesn't bring in subscribers like Oprah and Martha. However, if Stern doesn't re-up, ballgame over. Sirius/XM will not survive long. Sure, Stern doesn't have the same number of listeners, but he is as powerful as ever.

Many people have Sirius/XM just because of Howard Stern.

I'm sure Ellen could care less what Howard thinks.

I cannot stand Howard Stern, but he is right on pertaining to Ellen's Cover Girl contract. Those pictures are so air brushed and photoshopped that it's laughable. Ellen may be many things, but a beautiful Cover Girl is NOT one of them.

I'm a 33 y/o MALE and look more like a Cover Girl then Ellen. They are marketing to an extremely small portion of the population.

they both have little redeeming qualities---sometimes what the"public"likes is NOT necessarily the most talented
