Does anyone have a Verizon Moto G?

I recently bought one and I can't access the internet without using wifi. I bought some minutes for it and tried to get on the net and I got a message saying that my wifi or mobile data were turned off. I made sure that the 'mobile data' is set to 'on' but I still can't get on the net with it. What should I try? The wifi access works fine.

Try accessing with wifi off and mobile data on.

I'll try that but I'm thinking I've tried that already. I'll do it again soon.

Rather than having people here make guesses why don't you just call your provider?

You said you bought minutes, those are usually for voice and don't include data, data plans are usually measured in MB or GB, not minutes.

It is possible that the OP's issue is that the data settings might need to be manually configured. Just go to the closest corporate store for assistance. Was it a "New" device??

I'll do that. I just wanted to see if anyone here had my type of phone and if they had a similar problem. I wanted to see if it was an easy fix before calling Verizon. Tech support can be an hassle(a lot of waiting).

Yup, but as we had no clue who your provider was, what services you were paying for, or if your phone was properly provisioned, all we can do is guess as to the problem.

Internet connection seems to be an issue with this phone. I see some others have had problems with it.

Might be worth popping over to the Moto support forums on Google+. The Moto X community has a lot of knowledgeable people, perhaps there's something like that for the G

Finally got it to connect to the web without wifi.

A few days ago I bought some data(500MB of bridge data). But it still didn't connect without wifi. Today I was able to get back with tech support and the tech person had me enter some numbers that activated the phone. Actually she said it re-programed the phone. Anyway after that I was able to get on the net without wifi. So it seems like it was a re-programing issue. I might share this with those people on that Android forum link I posted.
