I was wondering any true fans of Virgin Mobile? I have been a customer of Virgin Mobile ever since the start up of the whole company. I currently have the $35 month plan of 300 M per month & unlimited data. I have been very happy with the service. I am from North Carolina.

I use them for my business line, and they are worth the price. The quality of service or coverage doesn't compare to my Verizon phone, but then again, it's about one third the price.

Virgin Mobile is 100% worth it for the price.

I've used VM on/off for a few years. Completely satisfied with the service. Last I knew they are a reseller of Sprint, a CDMA service. Went to Verizon, got a smartHTC, finished the contract and now have service with a Vz reseller, 250/250 $12 mo. I don't use the/any phone much anymore so this works for me.

Both the VM and Vz air quality is/has been excellent.

I am happy with their service, not as good at Verizon but don't have to pay the price.

Walmart is selling Virgin Mobile paylo plans for $20/month unlimited talk or text. You must buy a phone with them, but models start at $15. the plans through Walmart are better than the plans on the Paylo website.

I am not sure what you are getting for $35/month. Does that include data?

I was using Virgin Mobile until I switched to Cricket. I only did so because I wanted a larger-screened phone and didn't necessarily want the HTC Desire 816. (It did help, too, that Cricket uses AT&T, and prior to Virgin Mobile I had used "GoPhone" and had good coverage with them.)

I liked them the 3½ years I was with them. Everybody and their grandmother around here ALL use Straight Talk for whatever reason, as if they're the only prepaid carrier in the entire hemisphere. I was well aware of Virgin Mobile way long ago, and used them a lot. In fact, while I myself don't use them now as of a week ago, my wife's phone has been Virgin Mobile most of the past 9 years, I started her out on one way back in 2006 and after letting it go "dormant" after a year or so I logged in to the same account some 2 years later, which was about 4 years ago from now, and found the login was still good--same phone number and everything. So I got it going again on the $20 plan, as she uses just a flip phone anyway.

I've been a VM user for over 11 years, but I think I may move on to another prepaid provider in a few months, because there are better deals to be had out there.

For anyone thinking of switching, if you look at the VM web site now, the $35 plan described by the OP has been replaced by a new plan with much less data.

Poor customer service, poor coverage, poor phones.... only reason I stayed was $25/month and unlimited data. But once they started capping data, I left ASAP.

I used them back in the day. Coverage was sketchy, because they use Sprint but other than that no issues.
