I had a Nexus 7 tablet but I didn't use it much. When I upgraded it to Lollipop I liked it even less so I sold it. I bought a used 5.5 inch phone (LG Optimus G Pro) to use as a wifi tablet and ereader, I have not activated it as a phone. It has better specs, better battery and better camera than a comparable tablet, and it's easier to carry around. For my main cell phone I like a 4.5 inch size phone.

I use a Zmax and love the larger screen.

You can have both with an Asus PadFone
It is an Android Smartphone that Slides Into the Back of a 9-Inch Tablet, I believe there may be some others out there like it as well.

I have an Android phone with a 5.5" screen. It can double as a tablet in a pinch but the battery life deteriorates quickly when in WiFi mode.
