Stupid Q

The new cell phone battery ran down and now does not function.

Is it dead or can I get it to work again? Just bought the thing....

If you plug it in and it isn't responding then let it sit charging for like an hour and then try turning it on.

If this doesn't work your battery might be toast.

What phone is it?

For reference:

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

Samsung Tracfone is merely a phone manufacturer and a carrier, not a phone model # that was asked in post #2. With some older phones, it is better to replace the phone than buying a replacement battery.
