Phone: Motorola Moto E4 refurbished from Tello Mobile (Sprint network), $79 cheap
OS: Android versions 7.1.1

Developer Options installed: yes

The stupid Battery Saver does NOT want to stay on forever!

I find myself often having to keep turning it ON over and over again following powering on the phone or hitting the power button to turn the sleeping screen back on again.

Is there a fix to keep this thing cemented ON?

The battery saver displays neat orange bars which I really do like.

Settings > Battery > Battery Saver

Turn OFF the option for "Turn of battery saver when phone is charged" or something like that.

My phone doesn't have Turn of battery saver when phone is charged

It has On/turn on automatically at 15% battery

This setting has no effect. The battery saver is shut off when the phone is shut off. I have to manually turn it on again when the phone is turned on.

I found out had to disable the screen lock. That also bugged me

The battery saver seems to stay on now when the power button is hit to turn the display back on from sleep.
Shutting the phone off and booting cold will cause the battery saver to be off again. I rarely have to shut my phone off cold anyway.
I can use total silence/do not disturb so the dam thing won't ring in court anyway.

Powering off or restarting kills the battery saver ON setting. It seems like the battery saver was killed everytime the phone was updated as well.

Is there not a switch there somewhere like this?
https://www.verizonwireless.com/supp...e-base-212805/

or this which shows how to turn it on, just do the opposite.

It may be an app that is causing this, something you installed after you got the phone. Other than that, see if if it's on the latest version of Android for that phone.
