Tomorrow I'm signing up with Verizon since my AT&T account is finally finished! I don't know what phone to get though. I'm kind of leaning between the LG enV3 or the HTC Droid Eris. I like the full keyboard, that's what I really want. The only other thing I'd like to have is the internet, mainly to get on Facebook or something. I want a phone that isn't too big either, which both of these seems to be pretty small and slim.

Anyone have any thoughts on either of these phones? Pros and cons? Any other phones I should look into?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

know nothing of the env; my brother bought an eris. seems like a nice phone. i was impressed with the speed when loading apps, performing various tasks. i still prefer the BB physical keyboard over touchscreen. sisters b-friend has the motorola droid. it was large and heavy, but has a slide-out keyboard. june fabrics pdanet has a version for the HTC eris for tethering. my brother was testing @ 2Mbps on the laptop via tether.

I just got the Eris two days ago and I love it. The web browser is quick, the touch screen is responsive and has no lag, and I had no problems syncing up my gmail/calendar/contacts.

I can think of only two cons...

Poor battery life.
Required $30 data plan.

I'm pleased with my purchase.
