So, I want to create a small custom mold for experimentation.
I don't think it would be easy to find such a plastic mold, creating a wooden mold would require wood and tools = lots of hassle. Thus, I'm thinking of creating such a mold using mud myself, then, where in Charleston to find such good quality mud ( small quantity like a few pounds would do )?
As for the land in the neighborhood, for one thing, it's others' property and for another, we see lots of pets/dogs around, so, such type of mud would be smelly to say the least... Not suitable.

Thoughts?
Thanks.

Maybe pick up some clay at an art/craft store? Any mud here in the lowcountry is likely to be "smelly".

You can use a 3d Printer. The folks at Reforge might be able to help: https://reforge.io/

@localhero, good idea, but freaking expensive, bought such little such materials and it costs an arm and a leg, all right, I'm kidding, but not cheap tho, $30.
Appreciated.

@IsNull, a little too fancy for now but may consider it down the road...
