Easter isn't for another month, but I've learned my lesson to make reservations for holidays way in advance.

So, what restaurants would y'all recommend for Easter brunch? Last year, we ate at Grill 225. I'm thinking either Magnolias, Waters Edge, or Halls. We have been to those places before but never for brunch. I would like to try a new restaurant though. Still haven't been to Husk or the Old Village Post House.

Any suggestions?

I have never had brunch at the Old Village Post House but if it is doing Easter Brunch I would give it a shot.

I have had my reservation for Easter brunch at Water's Edge for a couple months now. I like Water's Edge much better than Old Village Post House. We went to Water's Edge for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was definitely worth the money!

Just curious but how much did you pay for your Thanksgiving meal? We ate at Middleton Place and weren't that impressed for their $50/person buffet. Maybe because they set up tents w/heaters on the grounds (I thought they would have had people in an enclosed space).

I believe it was $25 per person. There was ham, turkey, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato casserole, collards (probably the best I have had), stuffing, and some other things that I can't remember. I will be going back for Thanksgiving this year. We had a reservation and were able to bypass all the walk ins that were waiting.

My husband wants to go back to Halls for brunch. I'm glad I made a reservation as a "just in case we want to eat there" via Open Table a few days back because now they are booked. If anyone is planning on going out for brunch, I would get your reservations made now.
