My husband, 17 month old son, and I are going to be traveling to Charleston in less than 2 weeks. I have read reviews online about some of the hotels on the beach either on Folly Beach or Isle of Palms. Some of the reviews on even the nicer hotels say they are dirty and not worth the money!!

Do you have any suggestions? We were looking for something on the beach so it would be easy with our son plus have pool!

Thanks!

The only hotel on Folly Beach (beachfront) is Tides....it is a nice place to stay.

How long are you going to be in Charleston? You are really limited if you want anything such as a 'beach front' hotel...Charleston is nothing like a Myrtle Beach town. Depending on how long you plan on staying, and your price range, a rental may be the best option, it's not exactly the hight of the season just yet ($$ wise)...

Agreed and Agreed. Tides is nice and VRBO is a great way to find a rental on the beach. There should be some places that have openings for 4 days. Are you looking at any particular beaches?
