I have family in Atlanta who want to try to get to Charleston, SC tomorrow (Sunday) where they live. They'll, of course, be checking travel advisories about the awful flooding in SC. However, if anyone living or traveling along the Atlanta/Charleston route has on-the-ground first-hand information, it's always helpful to hear from local people. I'll check in again tomorrow AM. Thanks.
Where do they live in Charleston? To paraphrase ... all reports are local. From what we hear, I26 is open/clear. But Columbia is a mess. Perhaps asking on that forum would benefit you in seeking "on-the-ground first-hand" for the road trip down I26.
