Hello,

I may be moving to your fine city very soon and things are moving fast. Could anyone point me to a good place to live? Here's my answer to the sticky.

1. Budget-$700-900 a month
2. House/Condo/Townhome? Condo/Townhouse/Apt only for now
3. Employment Status(commute/work from home) Short commute to the base
4. Children(public school vs. private)-No kids
5. Suburban, Coastal or Urban lifestyle preference or a mix of them together (or even Rural)-Urban/Coastal. It would be nice to be able to walk to a few places (bars, restaurants) or a short drive to them. Coastal sounds good, but I realize the AFB is on the other side of town.
6. Amenities preferred or must-haves-Um bookstores and classy bars/nightclubs
7. Preferable demographics of desired neighborhood-Diverse, middle class, educated, liberal, safe of course

Thank you in advance!

The Flats at Mixson in Park Circle is worth a look. Yes - it is above the range you set but, if your priority is a shorter commute to the base coupled with #6 and #7, it's slim pickins out there.

Consider looking around Park Circle - it will answer your mix of preferences, although it's slim pickings in that price range.
