Charleston/Kanawha City...where to get a decent haircut for men?!?! (price, floor)

Good day all~

My husband and I relocated to Kanawha City/Charleston WV area in the summer of 2009. Since then, he has been trying to find a decent place that gives a basic man's haircut - he doesn't need anything fancy...just a nice, EVEN cut for a reasonable price! He recently tried the hair place at Sears in the Charleston Town Center Mall for $14 - they unevenly cut at the sideburns and poorly /unevenly trimmed at the nape of his neck.

He's now eyeballing the JCPenney's hair place in the mall as well, but balks at the $24 price (he's used to getting a good cut for $12 back in Virginia) and worries it'll be just like Sears... So, if anyone has any suggestions for a shop or private barber, do send them our way!

Used to be a old time barber shop on 40th st, just off Maccorkle

There used to be one on Noyes Ave. across from Trivillian's too. I don't know if it is still there since I rarely go to Kanawha City.
