Very sad. Never, ever smoke in bed or lying on the sofa. That causes more of these fires than anything else, and little kids are totally helpless in a situation like that.

The child who had been taken to the hospital died Sunday morning. That makes 9 dead. Worst loss of life in a fire in the history of Charleston.
