Hypnobabies home study program? (Charlotte: money, classes, place)

My wife is due in a couple of months and is looking for information on the Hypnobabies home study program. If you've used it we would love to hear your experience and opinion of the program. Were you able to go through with it? Did the program meet your expectations? Would you do it again?

We are also looking for anyone looking to either sell their copy or lend it out?

I used it, and it was WONDERFUL!!! I honestly could not say enough good things about it. I had an incredible unmedicated birth experience (even with a not so supportive doctor...which I don't recommend doing ). Feel free to send me a DM, and I would be happy to answer any other questions for you.

Well, as someone who does psychological research, I can tell you that there is absolutely no proof that those sorts of products work. Time and time again, their 'efficacy' is debunked. However, placebos are very, very powerful...so if she thinks it will work, I'm sure it's worth the money.

I have a friend in Atlanta who does hypnobirthing classes. She is a doula and lactation consultant, so maybe seek out some local doulas here in Charlotte to get more info, or at least be pointed in the right direction. Congrats on your growing family!
