I don't know where else to look. I am trying to find a list of some of the major companies that are in Charlotte. Most employed companies. Mainly in the downtown area. I am in the process of finding a place to work before I relocate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The main employers in the downtown area are the banks. (Besides the service industry of course, like hotels and restaurants which support all the people the banks bring in.) The main industries in general are banking, healthcare and education. If you can fit into one of those fields, you're set!!

Depending on your type of work, check with the City and Meck County. The City alone employs about 6,500 people. Charlotte Mecklenburg Living
