My daughter is home from college until Jan 23rd and has been looking for classes to get her lifeguard certification so she can lifeguard this summer. It looks like all we have found are classes that start in April (i.e. Y). She goes to school 10 hours away and comes home very liitle so April would not work. Does anyone know of any classes available over the next few weeks?

Maybe call MAC and ask them if they know of any available classes. They would be a good first call. Another place you could try is any school that has a pool or swim team. I know Providence High school offered a lifeguard training class when I was there in the 90's. They probably still offer one. Just ask to speak to the swim coach/instructor.
