Can't dwell on it people..But as I was coming out of the parking garage today, I cut too sharp and scraped some paint against the wall of parking deck as I was turning on to the street. UGH!!!!!!!!to say the least. Back side of car has scratches from where I cut....Any recommendations on auto body work? Not trying rto break the bank, but want definitely want craftsman/like work done. All recommedations are welcomed.

B&R Body on Independence. They do good work and stand behind it. Have used them twice personally and many acquaintances have had good experiences as well.

Just don't go to Wilburn.

I recommend Sterling Auto Body, they are on McAlway Road in Charlotte. I hit a deer a few years back, car was a mess. Sterling Auto was where my insurance sent me, my car came back good as new. I was very impressed. They were quick too, excellent customer service.

I recommend Wilburn on Margaret Wallace, right off Independence! LOL

I've taken two cars there on 3 different occasions, and every time, they've done a great job. They even fixed an old problem (hatch not staying open) for free, and pointed out a mechanical problem with the car that I hadn't been aware of.

I've had no problem with them at all.

I second Wilburn on Margaret Wallace Road (which is across from the Volvo dealer on Independence). We've used the company twice (not our fault either time) and they do "like new" body work. I'm getting ready to take a pickup truck in for some work on the tailgate of the truck.

Wow... I haven't heard one piece of anecdotal evidence before this thread that Wilburn was any good.

I second B&R. This place was recommended to me a year or so back when I scraped my back bumper. They buffed and painted it for free...I tried to offer something, but he didn't want to take it. Now I didn't leave it there for a professionaly job, but rather we just touched it up good enough because I was not looking to spend a lot of money on my little Hyundai. They are super nice there and I've heard good things about them.
