I am looking to get our Thanksgiving turkey from Earthfare this year. It is our first Thanksgiving down here so I am up for any recommendations or curious if anyone has ordered from them before? We eat natural meat. I know the local butcher doesn't have any but will next year. I heard there might be some local farmers but I am not sure where else to look. Thanks!

We get ours at Home Economist. They are organic free range, whatever. Fresh, not frozen. More expensive but worth it.

I was looking for where to get our turkey as well, and checked out the Home Economist website, where it linked to the farm where they get their turkeys from, which lists where you can buy their products.....Earth Fare and Home Economist both get their turkeys from the same farm. (there may be other suppliers but I didn't get that far.....since Home Economist is closer to me I'll try there)

I recommend Alison's too. I know the owner of the farm after working at Earth fare, but I bought that chicken before I knew him. It's the best poultry you will ever eat.
