Well, our house is on the market and the offers are flooding (well, trickling) in. We will be shopping in Union County (feeder areas for Marvin Ridge and Weddington HS).
Coming from Southern California, I can't wait to get my hands on a larger lot (coming from 7000 sq. ft). I have always taken care of all my own landscaping needs, but was curious about the costs of landscape service on some of these larger lots.
Can anyone shed any light on ballpark figures to maintain a half acre lot? Acre? Assume a lot of that is grass.
I pay $45 a week on a half acre lot, seen some a bit cheaper some more.
My guy is always reliable and takes really good care of my law, so he's worth what I pay him.
Thanks. $180/month seems like a lot compared to the rates here in SoCal. Let me ask: what's included in that $45/week? In other words, is it just mowing the lawn, or does it include trimming plants/hedges, fertilizing, etc?
Just mowing and edging, other stuff is extra. I just checked my bill and it was $165 last month for 4 cuts, so it is a little less than $45.
