When we bought our house it came with most of the appliances and they've been slowly kicking the bucket. I was trying to figure out where one might bring an old/dead microwave and dishwasher without throwing it at the landfill.
I live in Indian Trail--so anything near there is a bonus, but I'm willing to bring it elsewhere if it's a substitute to the dump.
I've tried Craigslist--no one wants a broken microwave or dishwasher...
It depends on which appliance are you planning to repair and how old they are. My dishwasher, oven and washing machine broke down(Not all at sametime). Did lot of homework and found to replace them with new. The initial service call, parts labor and then "Well, its a X year old model you know-No garantees" statement does not make it worth the repairs. Just my 2 cents

It's a fairly new washing machine. I have a feeling it's just the shocks (front load model).
