The wife and I are possibly relocating to the Charlotte area in April. My job will be in Davidson or Mooresville, her job requires frequent travel so we'd like to be in the middle between the airport and the north. From what I've read, Huntersville seems to be a good area that will meet both those needs. We'd like to rent first to get a lay of the land and possibly build later on.

HOWEVER, all the apartments I've seen that claim to be Pet Friendly only allow 2 pets - we have 3. Does anyone know of any complexes that allow 3 dogs or has anyone had any experience negotiating for a 3rd pet. I'd be up for even renting a house/condo, but was only looking for something 6 months, and most houses I've looked at so far want a 1 yr lease.

Thanks in advance.

Contact 'The Landings' in Huntersville, it's located next door to Birkdale off highway 73 (Sam Furr Road) Their doesnt disclose amount of pets just conditional which is probably restriction on dangerous prone breeds.

Find a realtor in Huntersville/Charlotte area and have them check rentals that allow multiple pets. We rent a house in Mooresville and have 2 dogs/3 cats. It helped that my husband is a vet but there are places out (rental houses more so than apartments) that would be available for multiple pets. Be warned you might have to pay more on a pet deposit.
