My family will be relocating from Orlando to Charlotte possibly as early as the end of October. I will be in need of pre-natal care and prefer a midwife. Florida is much better from what I can tell as far as access to birth centers and midwives so I am pretty nervous about finding good care in NC.
I'd also like to move to a neighborhood with good schools and I have heard really troubling things about the schools there. My littlest will be starting Kindergarden next year and I would love to get the best school district we can afford. We will be renting for probably two years and would like to keep rent around the $1500 or below mark and need 4 bedrooms and a fenced yard. It seems like everything I see in a place with decent schools is over the $1500 mark. Perhaps I am not looking in the right places. I'd appreciate any input from the natives! Moving while pregnant is no fun so finding pre-natal care and housing in a good school district would be a huge relief to me!
