Hello Folks,
Can a wise resident on this forum outline all the taxes a single person will pay every year living in (a miniscule condo) the Uptown, North Carolina area...I mean everything including the car. When I believe I have all the data researched, some other tax arises. I would appreciate the information!

I do not know the exact rate but if you live within the I-277 loop the property taxes on your home are higher. : ( Mecklenburg county also has a car tax you have to pay as well.

Besides COA (HOA for others), groceries, gas, car, state, and real estate...what other taxes? Another thread has so many people repeating one too many times the same tax item, it is not informative. In my research it seems as if the government of Charlotte taxes an individual very heavy.

There is an additional district tax if you live uptown. I found this on a realtor's website.

District 1 Taxes:

0.0174(District) + 0.4586(City) + 0.8189(County) = 1.2949

incorporated Charlotte: 0.4586(City) + 0.8189(County) = 1.2775

District 2 rate -0.0298, District 3 rate -0.0445, District 4 rate - 0.0668
District 5 rate - 0.0300
