Hi - I currently live in northern NJ, and am considering relocating to Charlotte. My employee has an office in uptown Charlotte. I'm looking to keep my commute to 30 minutes or less. Can anyone recommend a place for me to start looking. It seems that traffic is very much dependent on what subdivision one is in. Does anyone have any experience that they can pass onto me? Thanks in advance.
30 min or less commute will also depend on what time of day you are on the road. Traffic on 77 is a nightmare if you are looking at the Lake Norman area. Can take 30 min to go 10 miles. If you are a morning person and can start your Charlotte job before 7am traffic will not be an issue. Also will your Charlotte office have parking available? Do you have to pay to park then walk 10 min to your office?? Come down and visit. Charlotte is not for everyone and is very different then northern NJ.
