I did a search and didn't find anything at all about area tanning salons. I know they're out there, but was hoping for some suggestions. I'm not a serial tanner, but just looking to be a little less white when I head on a Caribbean vacation in April.
Anything around Independence/485 would be best - especially up toward Mint Hill. Thanks!
Spa 51 has several tanning beds to choose from and is located in the shopping Center with Lowes Foods, Mamas Pizaa, Wendy's Hamburgers, right off of Hwy. 51. It's Very nice and clean. There's also a Tanning Salon in the Sycamore Commons shopping Center in Matthews, there's a Costco, Lowe's Home Improvement and Circuit City store in that shopping center.
I'm going to throw in my 2 cents. Don't go tanning!! I used to be a big tanner and never thought skin cancer would happen to me, but...last year it did. Now I have to worry constantly about the sun and have big scars from getting the cancers removed, and I have to worry about it spreading. Having a tan is SO not worth the cancer worries! Slather on that 50 SPF and be happy to be pale!
If you use the neutrogena dial in self tanner, it works great and is very easy to use.
