I was very surprised to see that Pasta & Provisions is opening it's third location in Wilmore.
I have mixed feelings about gentrification; namely that (existing) folks might be forced out, do to financial pressure. Gentrification also changes the character of an area, in a way that might be viewed as negative.
I am, however, encouraged that money is being pumped into older Charlotte communities...beautiful housing stock with lots of character.
So...what's going on in Wilmore & Belmont? In addition to those, what other areas are undergoing the gentrification process?
