I think there's supposed to be an opening for part of it, which makes zero sense. The bypass has been on the books for 25/30 years. What's a couple of more years?

Thanks guys! I haven't seen anything about the progress in a while. Have been in New England since last year and am coming back to Gastonia after Christmas. Hwy. 74 w is our route to Asheville day trips and not having to hit Dixon Blvd. in Shelby will will make the trip a lot better.

Dixon Blvd is just a mess. They're supposed to open the western half of the bypass, which will feed vehicles between the north bypass & the south bypass, through town. It's just a bad idea, in my opinion. Business 74 is Marion.it might be better to take that & avoid as many trucks as possible.
