Contact the Chamber of Commerce. They can supply demographics.

If you are looking for an apartment first, there is a large Indian community in apartments and condo near the Arboretum at the Hwy 16(Providence Rd) and Hwy 51 crossing. If you are looking 1 1/2 - 2 miles past there out Hwy 16 at the Ballantyne Parkway crossing there are more apts. with large Indian populations. There is also a new homes community off the traffic circle on Tilley-Morris Rd where the new extension of Ardrey Kell will eventually come out after it passes Waverly shopping center. I don't know the names of any of these places, sorry I only pass them on my commute.
These would be close to the Ballantyne Wells Fargo location, but might not be too advantageous for the Uptown location or CIC near University City.

I'm sure someone else will be of more definitive help shortly.

Wells Fargo has multiple locations within Charlotte. Knowing where you and your husband would be working will lead to better recommendations for you.

I work at CIC. The 2 apartment complexes directly on IBM drive have large a population of Indian families. The area around CIC has a lot of Indian restaurants and grocery stores.

Apartment names are The Vinoy and Autumn Park

Indian Grocery stores within a couple of miles: Patel Brothers, India Grocers, Rajbhog Sweets and Treats, and Gandhi Grocers

Indian Restaurants: Passage to India, Persis Biryani, Madras Café, Sithara, Curry and Cake, Nawabs Kebabs, and probably 3-5 more I can't remember.
